happy accidents

Today was a very experimental day in non-silver, which is nice since this is the 3rd time I've taken the course and sometimes I get a little to sucked into the familiar. I attempted to coat cyanotype on book cloth, which would have worked if I had given it more time. However it did bleed through the cloth and onto the paper I had underneath it, which printed in the pattern of the shriveled backing paper on the cloth. I also played around with stamps and gum printing but those aren't finished yet.

I'm quite enamored with its organic qualities the random fissures that contrast with the rigidity of the printer paper an the control of an mechanically printed line.
