Apartment Hunting sucks

I don't know why people call it house hunting. Its more like house fishing, a lot of waiting around, disappointment and going home empty handed most of the time. That being said, anybody looking for an awesome roommate this fall?

To vent my frustrations I think it best to look at pretty pictures. And Thus I present to you, the loyal reader/whoever I managed to lure over by posting a link to this on facebook, Image number one in a series I would like to call "Shit that I finally got around to processing from months ago"

Studio

Interning

I've recently started interning for a pretty damn cool philly photographer. We've been doing a lot of still lives, and sort of life style type shots. So I had a hankering to give it a shot. I didn't have beautiful window light or a beauty dish but I managed to cobble this together. I'm not entirely sure what to think of it.

House fire

I finally found out what gets everyone outside in suburbia, fire trucks. That being said I did enjoy the opportunity to photograph firefighters in action while the entire neighborhood just gawked. Although I didn't find the neighbors as interesting to photograph it was a nice change of pace from my normal studio fare. Also I felt like was channeling Gregory Crewdson here, minus the enormous budget and camera.
